See More... Still sporting a brunette hairdo, Britney Spears was spotted hitting a gas station for a pack of smokes and a lighter before heading over to Raffles L’hermitage on Burton Way in Beverly Hills on Thursday night.

And while the much talked about child custody case isn’t going well for the “Toxic” singer, there is good news regarding her hit and run suit. It looks like she’ll only get a slap on the wrist.

Reportedly, the fact that Brit had a clean driving record, with no prior violations at the time of the accident, has really come through in her favor. Also, her prompt attention to getting a valid driver’s license also granted her some asylum.

Given her “good behavior,” the “Oops I Did It Again” singer walked with a “fix it” ticket, a minor infraction on her driving record.

Let’s just hope for her sake that her luck in this case carries over into her custody battle with Kevin Federline.
