This is part of the coordinated efforts of Netflix and America's Second Harvest, along with many celebrity names.
Each celebrity has volunteered to work at an America's Second Harvest member food bank to bring attention to the reality of hunger and poverty in America. Teri Hatcher ("Desperate Housewives") stuffed and distributed backpacks for kids at the Los Angeles Food Bank on December 4; Kevin Bacon ("Mystic River") packed and sorted boxes at the Food Bank for New York City on December 5; Adrian Grenier ("Entourage") serving food at the Neighbors Together Soup Kitchen in Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") will volunteer at a senior citizen food program at the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C. on December 18.
