R.I.P. Dan Fogelberg

The following message was posted on Dan Fogelberg's website today:

Sunday, December 16

Dear friends,

Dan left us this morning at 6:00am . He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side. His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.

I'm so sad about this - I didn't even know he was battling prostate cancer. He was only 56. I hope he is resting in peace. For now, you can listen to his beautiful song "Longer" below.

What a handsome man and such a beautiful soothing voice with beautiful words, He will be greatly missed and it is a shame he did not beat this, He is a beautiful angel, in a different place, different dimesion, He still very much lives on, It is just passing thru a vail ,to the other side,, god bless..In Colorado,, Cindy

Thanks...his beautiful music will always be timeless. My all time favorite soft rock music vocalist.
Every time I hear "another auld lang syne", still gives me chills. It's always like the first time I heard it so many years ago...simply blew me away...still does.

A wonderful story teller and gifted musician who touched us in so many ways.
