We could see this coming, couldn't you? It was only a matter of time before Amy Winehouse ended up implicated in hubby Blake Fielder-Civil's mess. Maybe the suicide pact rumors aren't so far fetched after all. Hollywood Grind brings the goods:
Amy Winehouse was arrested today as part of the investigation surrounding her husband Blake Fielder-Civil. After about two hours of questioning Amy was released after posing bail. She was quizzed over an alleged plot to try and bribe a witness beaten in a pub in August 2006. Amy gave a saliva DNA sample, was fingerprinted, and had a photo taken (mug shot) before being released on bail. Scotland Yard said:
“A 24-year-old woman has been bailed to return to an East London police station on a date in early March, pending further inquiries.”
Although no charges have been filed yet, Amy could face life in prison. No wonder she’s been on suicide watch. She’s only using the drugs and alcohol to clear her head, and help her make better decisions so she can get her husband freed. Right? She’ll probably win a dozen awards while she’s in jail too.
