Larry Rudolph, Britney Spears' on-again, off-again manager, has finally commented on the pop princess' latest outcry for help.

"Britney has been through a tragic thing that hopefully will never happen again, "he says. "Shaving her hair was a sort of therapeutic thing for her." He adds, "Britney knows that she needs help and is already going through counselling, she knows what needs to be done and is slowly re-building herself step by step."

Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that an incoherent Brit-Brit paid a visit to the emergency room at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai Medical Center early this morning. It's not presently known whether the hard-partying mother-of-two is still there or whether she has been discharged. Stay tuned for the very latest.

As for my theory -- I blame POST-PARTUM DEPRESSION. The girl had two babies in practically a year. Her hormones are out of whack and the constant scrutiny of the media only amplifies the problem.
