Will Smith thinks Hitler was a good person

I Like It I Don't Like It
Actor Will Smith has stunned the world by declaring that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was a “good” person. The 39 year-old star, who likes to see the best in people, is convinced the former German leader did not fully understand the extent of the pain and suffering his actions would cause during his time in power.”Hitler didn’t wake up going, ‘Let me do the most evil thing I can do today’. I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good’. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming,”he said. Hitler’s leadership as Fuhrer during the 1930s and early 1940s resulted in the persecution of an estimated six million Jews in the Holocaust, and later on led to the start of the Second World War.

  • Hitler may have come up with the seemingly "good" ideas but it took a lot of people to do what he supposedly said to do. He was not alone. Plus all the other nations who knew what was going on and let it continue. That takes teamwork. It was not a one man job.

  • Will Smith's Hitler comments were indeed foolish and grossly ignorant. He said that he was misquoted, as often happens. He really needs to thinking before speaking to the media

  • Will, have you been talking to Ward Churchill from the University of Colorado in Boulder who called victims of the twin towers "Little Eichmanns"? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,290642,00.html
