If you don't know the meaning of the word schadenfreude, let us help you out.  Jamie Lynn Spears is 16 and pregnant.  Okay, that feeling you have right now?  That's it exactly.  We don't know why we find Jamie Lynn's pregnancy as enjoyable as we do, but we're loving this latest Spears' family episode.  Maybe because it reminds us of another SAT word - irony.


Poor Jamie Lynn isn't the first dumb child star to sabotage their own career by forgetting about the facts of life, though.  Up-and-coming actress Keisha Castle-Hughes managed to majorly self-spike last year by getting pregnant, as well.  Keisha delivered a baby daughter this past April at the age of 17.  Sadly, while she was once the youngest person to be nominated for a Best Actress Oscar, Keisha's career has been somewhat de-railed by motherhood.


Only time will tell if Jamie Lynn's career will be able to bounce back from her teen mom status.  Or if she'll follow in big sis Britney's footsteps and continue to be a train wreck long after she reaches adulthood.  One thing is for sure though, let's hope she doesn't follow mom Lynne's parenting advice.
