Denzel: Shirtless, Will Not Scab

Breaking Denzel Washington news update accompanied by graphic! You knew Denzel was a supporter of the WGA, but did you he's probably not going to cross the picket line to attend the Golden Globes? (January 13 on NBC, as if anything without Denzel is worth watching.)

He says, "The writers deserve to get their slice."

Denzel, who is nominated for American Gangster, adds, "If the studios (are) making money on something that the writer wrote and the actor acted in and the director directed, then those people deserve to make money too."

Finally, Denzel says he hopes the strike will be resolved before the awards.

Not attending along with Denzel: David Cronenberg, SJP, and other stars who "totally support the writers."

I think denzel is not at all wrong because whoever participates in the sawing must reep.so why should the the great men who are the genesis of the ideas be assumed none existent and yet thier work is just unforgatable?personally i don't like the whole thing of studios taking the lion's share.These people bare the zeal and the moralfibre to never look back thats why they strive to write and also achive thier ideas and turn them into great,eye and mind capturing entertainment.its not only that these people might have mentally worked most hard but please this has alot to do with fairness and treating right the responsible persons. happy new year to all.Andrew from Uganda(East Africa).
