There's nothing like a really sad love story to get us all drool-y over a hot new actor. Which is why we're currently crushing on cute Scottish import James McAvoy.
James co-stars with Keira Knightley in the much buzzed-about movie "Atonement". Thanks in part to James, the period piece is picking up award nominations even in a season without awards shows.
While James doesn't fit the typical chiseled Hollywood star profile, he's more of a thinking person's idol. His onscreen roles have been all over the map – from getting into character as a sprightly faun in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" to playing the doctor to a Ugandan dictator in "The Last King of Scotland".
James's star is rising in Hollywood. He's got a movie with Angelina Jolie coming out later this year and is rumored to play Kurt Cobain in an upcoming Nirvana biopic. We can't wait to see what this hot Scot is up to next.
