"She’s very smart, she’s already talking a lot," the Mad Money star told David Letterman last night. "You can see she is already a wonderful artist. Whatever she wants to do, if she wants to act, then yeah ... if not, whatever."
She said the 21-month-old is already well-versed to the hectic Hollywood lifestyle.
"She goes to sleep pretty late because we go to sleep late," Holmes, an Us Weekly style winner, said. "[She goes to sleep] around 11 p.m. and [wakes up] about 9 a.m."
Holmes called motherhood "magical" and said when Suri takes naps she’ll get close and "stare and kind of kiss her and see if maybe she’ll wake up."
Holmes also opened up about running the New York Marathon last November.
"I love it. It was very hard — very hard, but I loved seeing New York City that way," said Holmes, who finished the 26.2-mile race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds. "Tom and Suri met me at mile 18, and I really wanted to get in the car at that moment. I really did," she says. "Luckily, they pushed me through."
What else helped?
"I listened to Kanye West’s 'Stronger' for the last hour of the run and that helped me mentally in finishing the race," she said.
