I Like It I Don't Like It
You remember Brad Renfro from when you were a kid, don't you?  We do!  And we loved him, which is why this news makes us so sad.  The fact that his death may have been drug related only makes it more tragic.  Thanks to LayDdee's Eyes on Entertainment for giving us the story:

Brad Renfro has passed away at the young age of 25 years old! He was found dead in his Los Angeles home this morning. It is suspected that the cause of death was drug abuse but no confirmation on that as of yet.

The young actor (remember him in 'The Client'?) had been trying to stay clean and was convicted of drug possessions including heroin. It's so unfortunate seeing that he had just wrapped a movie called, 'The Informers' which also starred Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton.

Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and close friends at this time.

  • He was one of my fav childhood actors. We were the same age and i was a huge fan of his. He once wrote me back when i was about 12 and sent me an autographed picture. He was truly kind to his fans and was an amazing actor. he will be missed dearly.

  • I loved him in Bully, and he was absolutely adorable in Ghostworld. Of course, the Client. But what the hell? I'll miss him. He was so cute.

  • I personally knew Brad for a while. He was very close to my Fiancee's family, while in a band called "Frodad". I knew him to be a caring, genuine person, and an amazing actor and musician. It sadens me to have heard about his passing. I know that he is in a better place, and my heart goes out to his family and close friends. He will be missed.

  • I met Brad through his cousin, and only hung out with him a couple of times, but he was great guy. I'm still a little shocked. What a truly great loss of talent.

  • I was an extra in Telling Lies in America. I got to know Brad. He got a kick out of my 1949 Harley I rode in the movie. I have pics of him, myself and Kevin Bacon. Brad also got a kick out of the Cuban Cigars I used to bring on set. Funny story, When he finished his Cuban Cigar he would chew on what was left of it. Guess he really liked those Cigars I used to bring :) Really sorry to the family about your loss. I'm gonna miss you Brad and the way you liked those cigars, Russ

  • I remember Brad from the movie "The Cure" which he did with little Joseph Mazzello from Jurassic Park. I was shocked to hear about his passing, especially since here in Australia it got next to no publicity. Quite unfair that it didn't, as he was such a talent!
