See More... Returning to the Santa Monica set of “Seventeen” for the first time since having his appendix removed, Zac Efron slowly but surely got back into the acting groove.

Yawning from time to time, the High School Musical hunk has made quite the speedy recovery - as he underwent surgery for appendicitis less than a week ago.

As for the movie, “Seventeen” is: “About a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.”

Joining Zac in the 2009 release are former Friends actor Matthew Perry, along with Michelle Trachtenberg and Leslie Mann.
