Kirstie Alley Tired of People Slamming Scientology

Kirstie Alley is reportedly pissed off that people have been slamming Scientology. She vented her frustration in Ladies' Home Journal in their January issue:

"Why is it OK that Scientology gets slammed? A bigot is a bigot is a bigot."

Kirstie became a Scientologist after attending the Narconon drug rehab program in 1979 and credits Scientology, along with Jenny Craig with helping her to shed the pounds.

Well, as much as everyone has a right to believe in whatever they want, people have the right to think that some actions by a particular well-known celebrity (Tom Cruise) are a little odd. Unfortunately for Scientologists, he has become the most well-known practicing member and so his behavior and actions tend to represent them. Yes, it's unfair to all Scientologists, but hey, he's out there and that's what people see.
