Shot in L.A.’s Smashbox Studios (before she cut her hair), the singer, 19, offered advice to teenagers on how to stay fit.
“Eating healthy is very important as a teenager,” the Barbardos-born singer says. “You need to start eating healthy. It sounds boring — everybody wants to eat chocolate and candy, I am just like that — but, at the end of the day, it’s important to be healthy.”
What does she recommend?
“Exercise. It doesn’t have to be the gym,” says the “Umbrella” singer. “You can do sports, swim, ride a bike, skate, something fun.”
And of course, don’t forget the milk.
“You need calcium for those bones!” she says.
