Despite multiple denials that illegal drugs possibly played a role in Heath Ledger's death, disturbing new footage has surfaced of the star talking about and actually doing drugs.  View the video at this link from LA LATE:  

 

Out of respect for HEATH LEDGER’s family, “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider” have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media.

 

Nevertheless, the video preview was aired by National Nine News Australia during their 11am bulletin. In the video, according to Nine News, Ledger is heard to say: “I used to smoke five joints a day for 20 years.”

 

“I’m gonna get so much s**t from my girlfriend,” he says, referring to Michelle Williams, his partner at the time.

 

Says Nine News: “The footage shows cocaine being used at the party inside Hollywood’s exclusive Chateau Marmont Hotel, but Ledger himself is not seen participating in any drug-taking. The video was shot two years ago, according to The Insider, as Williams and the couple’s then baby daughter, Matilda, slept upstairs.The footage has surfaced as Ledger’s New York-based publicist, Mara Buxbaum, was forced to deny reports the actor refused to check into a Los Angeles rehab centre in 2006 for heroin, cocaine and alcohol abuse.”

  • It just shows that he is human. Some of us if not all have some sort of addiction or problem in their lives that they need to sort out or try to get a grip of. This does not make me look at him any different, he is/was a great actor and I will still remember him as such. For those of you who try to suceed at making him look like a drug addict, go ahead sink back into your little hole that you have crawled out from. Let his family friends and fans remember him and mourn him for who he is not for his faults as i'm sure you have yours as well. RIP Heath...

  • @anonymous: Yes just get over it. Don't recognize how fricked up our world is. How out of balance our daily life has become,just justify it with any other problem people might have & it looks OK again.I am not surprised anymore that the US has such a fricked up economic & political leadership with this kind of attude.The sad thing is that this mindless leaders are then fricking around with other peoples life,its heartbreaking!And US people are still surprised that nobody in the world wants its democracy & therefore it has to force it onto people with military force.I just hope that the whole US house of cards financed with its worthless debt crumbles into itself due to its hypocrisy & we can start all over again & do a better job then.

  • Not shocking since he did nothing in the video except drink beer, praise his girlfriend, say he smoked weed, then say he quite and got a tattoo of an M (for his daughter) to remind him never to smoke weed again. Seemed like a decent guy are are people trying to destroy his character.

    its sad that he has passed and he was a very talented actor. they should just leave it alone and let his friends and family mourn in peace!!!

  • I think this the most tragic loss that weve had in a long time , he was a very talented actor . I enjoyed watching him on screen and will miss him! I just hope his family is coping okay!

  • It is not shocking, it's sad. For one, all may speculate, not one person knows what killed him. It is horrible how his death and all those who die any means that a natural death are often made and played up to pure pointless gossip. My prayers go out to his family, Michelle W and their beautiful girl Matilda who has as so many children are being forced into, a life without her fathers involvement. It's a tragedy. Even if it comes out that he died from an accidental overdose, when will all those who follow in his footsteps, rich and the unfamous learn just how precious your life and body are?

  • Why shouldn't this be shown? It's time kids and foolish adults learn how these things happen to people. Why do we keep covering up for celebrities and our children continue to emulate them. Maybe it is time to show some "cause and effect" so people will know the reality of living a drug, booze, promiscuous filled life and the harsh sad ending it brings and how it hurts family and friends. It's time to wake up and let people know that Britney, Lindsey, Mary-Kate and all the others don't magically wind up in re-hab or get a mental illness. That getting numerous DUI's will land you in prison for more than a few hours in reality. Boozing and doing drugs all night and sleeping with anyone and everyone will land you in the hospital, but it won't be for "exhaustion" as they all like to claim. Wake up everyone and realize how this lifestyle that is so protected by the stars kills them and kills others too.

  • can't believe how stupid and gullible people are, this video doesn't show him doing any drugs...he is drinking a beer. they also cut out the part where he says he doesn't smoke anymore for the sake of Matilda...in this day and age, videos are so easily edited to make it look worst than it is...if this video is soooo hot and in demand, where has it been for the last 2 years??? you all need to get a life and leave celebrities alone to do their work...which is ACTING....!
