Leah Remini ‘Auditioning’ to Be a Godparent for J.Lo

So we realize she's joking, but are we the only ones who think it's a bit presumptuous to tell the public that you hope someone chooses you for their kids' godparent? Leah Remini's announcement, however, brings up a number of questions. If J.Lo really is carrying twins, do they each have their own set of godparents, or do they have to share? And who really knew Leah and Jen were BFFs anyway? Celebrity Mound shares:

Leah Remini is auditioning for the role of a lifetime: Godparent to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s unborn baby.

“We’re asking for an audition for godparent roles,” Remini, 36, joked to PEOPLE at the premiere after-party for Eva Longoria’s new comedy Over Her Dead Body Tuesday night. “Um … so, we’re waiting to hear back.”

The actress says she and husband Angelo Pagan, “need like a day – because we’re not good at cold-reading – so that we can just prepare.”

Added Pagan: “Not sure whether it entails that we have to sing, dance, recite a monologue, but we’re ready!”

Asked how Lopez is doing now, Remini added, “Great! She’s great! I mean, look, she was on tour. She’s a strong girl.”

For real you all need to stop. If you know anything about Leah ya got ta know she was joking. Jen and her have been friends for a while. Jen use to come to the set of KOQ when Leah was filming to support her friend. I think Leah is a great mom and would be a cool Godmother. Good luck to both of them.
