After quietly entering rehab last month, Eva Mendes has checked out temporarily and is reportedly back at home in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old actress left Utah’s Cirque Lodge rehab clinic on Feb 6 and boarded a flight to Los Angeles shortly after 9pm after spending a number of weeks in rehab. Reports suggested Mendes was battling substance abuse issues.
Her rep tells Usmagazine.com, “Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly.”
US states Mendes was struggling with a well-hidden substance abuse problem, including cocaine use. “She kept it all behind closed doors and wasn’t really a mess in public.“
The Cirque Lodge has become a leading celebrity refuge in recent months - Lindsay Lohan spent last summer there, rocker Richie Sambora also stayed at the facility last year, and actress Kirsten Dunst hasjust checked in.
