One shoulder gowns and solid colors dominated at the Oscars last night. There was a lot of beauty and some superb fashion on display. The best was a delicate mix of elegant, simply styled single-colored gowns and striking accents.

Kate Winslet wore a lovely sea green Valentino floor length gown with one shoulder that continued in a cape-like sash down the back. Her outfit was complimented with Chopard yellow diamond earrings and a big matching ring. She carried a gold turtle-patterned clutch
