Harold and Kumar Ride Again

I Like It I Don't Like It
Of the various movies recently announced as the lineup for this year's SXSW Film Festival, I am particularly excited about Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. And if I have to explain why, you wouldn't understand.

You better believe NPH is back, as well.

The movie opens wide April 25. Waiting is going to feel like forever.

If you happen to be headed to SXSW Film, you can also see, among other selections,

  • Mister Lonely, directed by the warm and cuddly Harmony Korine, starring the warm and cuddly Werner Herzog, about a Michael Jackson impersonator;
  • Run, Fat Boy, Run, with My Man Simon Pegg, about an aspiring marathoner;
  • Scorsese's Stones documentary, Shine a Light;
  • Stop-Loss, Kimberly Peirce's Iraq drama, infamous for introducing Ryan Phillippe to Abbie Cornish; and
  • Morgan Spurlock's Osama Bin Laden movie.

And if you can't get in to see Harold and Kumar (or Morgan Spurlock), there's always Super High Me, Doug Benson's participatory pot doc.
