Alan Arkin Wishes Failure Upon His Young Co-star

For Oscar night, Alan Arkin was hoping that Abigail Breslin, who played his granddaughter in this year's much celebrated film, "Little Miss Sunshine," would be walking home Oscar night empty-handed. But it's not because he's a mean old man, but for reasons I happen to find pretty sensible. Which may simply mean that I think like a mean old man. From Access Hollywood:

"I hope she loses frankly. No, I'm serious. I am not joking."
His reasoning?
