Chris Daughtry might not have won American Idol, but he had the best selling album in the country last year. Does this mean that America voted for the wrong person last time. Music is always evolving one minute one genre is hot the next minute its not. Daughtry sings pop rock which is really hot right now, he was able to find an audience post idol which made him sell more that all the other contestants. We think that was a smart move on his part.
