JUSTIN CHAMBERS FINE AFTER MENTAL WARD

Television star Justin Chambers is doing good after a brief stay at the psychiatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital last Jan. According to his co-star Chandra Wilson, the Grey’s Anatomy actor who plays Dr. Alex Karev in the high rated medical drama, voluntarily checked himself in to the UCLA Medical Center at the end of January to seek help for a “sleeping disorder”, about the same time Britney Spears was being treated at the same hospital. Wilson, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the hit television show, insists her colleague is recovering very well. She says, “Everybody goes through stuff. It’s no different than anybody else in the world. We just happen to be in the public eye… Justin’s doing just fine.” And another of Chambers’ co-stars, James T. Pickens, who recently spoke to the 37-year-old actor, adds: “Justin just needed a break. He said: ‘Man, I’m fine.’”
