See More... The 2008 BAFTA Awards have come and gone - and a little known French actress was the big surprise winner of a dazzling ceremony on Sunday night (February 10).

Marion Cotillard beat out British hopefuls Julie Christie and Keira Knightley to take the best actress award for her performance as singer Edith Piaf in the film La Vie En Rose.
