The Democratic presidential hopeful won the Grammy for best spoken word album on Sunday for the audio edition of his book, The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream. The Illinois Senator beat out two former presidents, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, to claim the trophy. (Maya Angelou and Alan Alda also vied for the prize.)

Obama's current political rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton, won in 1996 for It Takes a Village.
