Rumer Willis Named New “IT” Girl By Elle Magazine

According to Wikipedia,  an "It girl" is a charming, sexy young woman, or one who has just broken into mainstream cinema and attends parties all the time.  The phrase was coined in 1927 and here are some who have been named "It girls" in the past:  Kate Moss, Britney Spears, Tara Reid, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie.  Geez.  Is it a curse or something?  Cause with company like that, the latest "It Girl" Rumer Willis better hire a sobriety coach, like, now - before she even develops a substance problem!  Gossip Boulevard explains more:  

 

Rumer Willis has her moment thanks to Elle magazine, whose March issue cites her as part of the new breed of eccentric, irreverent “It” girls. This summer, Willis, 19, will star in I Know What Boys Like Best (previously called House Bunny), also starring Katharine McPhee. “I’ve been really lucky,” the “It” girl says. Indeed!
