Offering that the two of them have endured similar pain over the years - Nicole's divorce and subsequent difficulties with recovering addict husband Keith Urban and Antonia's somewhat public break-up with her husband Angus Hawley - Kidman is refreshingly candid as she talks about their shared strength.
"I'm fortunate in the sense that my sister and I have been through so much together,'' Kidman says.
"We've worked out how to take care of each other, how to protect each other, love each other.
"But that's taken an enormous amount of commitment from both of us.
