Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has reportedly turned down a deal for $200 million to have the legendary rockers tour. According to the Mirror, Plant rejected the offer in order concentrate on his partnership with Alison Krauss. Although Led Zeppelin performed in December 2007, causing high demand for them more shows, they've refused to confirm any more dates. A source told the Mirror:
"Jimmy (Page, guitarist) had enjoyed the concert in December enough to want to tour again. He argued they still had something to offer. John (Paul, bassist) sided with Jimmy. He loved making music with the others again. But Robert wanted to leave last year's concert as their legacy. They had proved they could still do it and that was enough."
Aw! That sucks. They did prove they could still do it and many more people would love the opportunity to witness it for themselves live. Let's hope Robert Plant will reconsider.
