Enrique Iglesias is already planning when he'll quit the music business, saying he'll quit at age 50. He insists he won't follow his father's example saying he can't imagine singing his most famous hits when he's his father Julio's age. He said:
"I'm not sure I want to be up on a stage when I'm 64 or 65. In my father's case, I think he's going to die onstage and I respect that very much. In my case, in 15 years I'll probably look ridiculous singing Bailamos... I want to retire in the next 15 years... Who knows if I'll have the courage to do it when the day comes."
Enrique, why not quit now while you're ahead and give everyone some relief? Isn't it interesting how he implies that his dad doesn't have the courage to quit and that he'll probably die on stage, but he respects that very much?
