See More... The Los Angeles Attorney’s Office formally charged Bai Ling this week with petty theft. Police popped the kooky actress at LAX last month for attempting to steal some magazines and batteries for no apparent reason.

“(She) was charged based on an arrest that occurred Feb. 13 at LAX where she stole two Star magazines and a package of batteries,” spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

The total value of the theft was $16.22, Mateljan added.

Bai Ling will be arraigned March 5, and will face the maximum penalty of a $250 fine, no jail time, and a lifetime as a D-list celebrity.
