Comedian Justin Timberlake Presents Madonna in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

I Like It I Don't Like It
After an innuendo-filled introduction from Justin Timberlake (during which he lauded Madonna for her "shapely body of work" and for how she's "always been a woman on top" who "fully enjoys that position"), the sinewy singer ascended the stage and thanked seemingly everyone who helped shape her career, from her earliest dancing teachers to the critics who have blasted her over the years, and told her she was "talentless, that I was chubby, that I couldn't sing, that I was a one-hit wonder — they helped me too, because they made me question myself and they pushed me to be better, and I am grateful for their resistance."

Justin’s speech was a very difficult hard try to be funny and smart. Well Justin can’t be perfect, right? The thing was so totally scripted and a Britney joke always comes easy, specially when she’s down.
"Madonna has changed the way our world sounded, she's changed the way our world looks, and somehow she still found time to publicly kiss at least someone who I may or may not have kissed myself," Justin Timberlake paused. "Of course, you all know I'm talking about Sean Penn."
Ready for the kill, Justin ends with "The world has long been full of Madonna wannabes — and I might have even dated a couple [groans] — but there is only one Madonna."
That was completely uncalled for! I can think of a million jokes about Madonna that don’t involve Britney Spears!!
