Michael Jackson reached an 11th-hour deal today making it possible to keep his Neverland Ranch . The property was scheduled to be auctioned on March 19th. Jackson went into a default on the 2,500 acre estate, located in California’s wine country, he currently owes $24.5 million.
Jackson attorney L. Londell McMillan told The Associated Press” the pop star has worked out a “confidential” agreement with Fortress Investment Group LLC. They have allowed him to retain ownership

Jackson has not lived there since his acquittal on child molestation charges in 2005.

Had the property been auctioned, there were rumors that David Beckham had express an interest in buying the estate as well as a lady named Kim Morrison who is an administrator at a private school which is across from Neverland Ranch.
