We understand. She recently broadcast from Camp Buehring in Kuwait, though, during which any statement (however veiled or vague) about political and/or social unrest might have seemed appropriate? Jessica Simpson and MySpace President Tom Anderson appeared live on the Today Show on Monday in Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Jessica said “I am in Kuwait, I’m enjoying all the troops – having a blast. “[I’ve been] signing autographs, meeting them, showing all the support I can. It’s an amazing opportunity to come and support my troops. Everybody out here sacrifices their lives for me and my country.”Jessica, the Pussycat Dolls, Filter, Distrubed, Carlos Mencia, DJ Z-Trip and Metal Sanaz performed a the base for ‘Operation MySpace’ – a live concert for 5,000 troops which was broadcasted on MySpace. Jess also debuted her new film ‘Major Movie Star’. I’m sure that made all the troops groan in agony.
