Platinum-selling rock band Fall Out Boy are setting their sights on topping a new chart: The Guinness Book of World Records!

The group, who release their new "Live in Phoenix" CD/DVD set on April 1, will set the record as the first band to play a concert in all seven continents in a time frame under nine months after playing a gig in Antarctica in late March.

FOB played concert dates in South Africa last summer and then toured Europe, Asia, Australia and North America throughout last year.

They are scheduled to play South American show in Santiago, Chile, on March 23, followed by King George Island in Antarctica on March 25. Proceeds from that show will benefit earth-friendly charity organization Greenpeace.

The group's new concert album package, recorded during their June 2007 Arizona tour spot, also includes a cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It," featuring John Mayer on guitar.

Fall Out Boy's 2007 album, Infinity On High, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and they have scored three MTV Video Music Awards.
