Not-So-Temporary Tattoos

When will celebrities learn?  Tattoos are forever – love isn't.  With hot mama Denise Richards getting her old "Charlie" (as in ex-hubby Charlie Sheen) tattoo covered up in recent days, we're wondering what's with the celebrity trend of permanent ink for temporary relationships.

Pam Anderson could've warned Denise –when her marriage to Tommy Lee went belly up, the blond bombshell had to have her tattooed wedding ring re-inked.  She had the "Tommy" tweaked to say "Mommy" instead.

Johnny Depp had to declare his devotion to liquor when his relationship with former fiancé Winona Rider went sour.  The sexy star had his "Winona Forever" tattoo partially lasered off to read "Wino Forever".

And, while we're hoping that David Beckham and wife Victoria last into eternity, we're wondering just what Becks would do with the giant portrait of Posh on his left arm if their relationship ever ran afoul.

As for Denise, "Charlie" has reportedly been replaced with a picture of a fairy.  The real Charlie, on the other hand, opted for having "Denise" lasered out of his life permanently.
