The tennis star and the singer-actor stepped out together over Easter weekend, hitting a West Hollywood nightclub. According to an eyewitness, the pair (who appear together in Common's latest video, "I Want You") were "affectionate," holding hands and kissing during their night on the town.
Reps for both Common and Williams declined to comment on their clients' personal life.
Common's cuddly night out also comes just as he's about to hit the big screen in Wanted with Angelina Jolie – whom he praised as an impressive woman off-screen.
"She has a good heart and she's a good person," he said recently at a press day for his other new film, Street Kings. "Within this industry you meet a lot of people that say certain things to you like 'Yeah, I'll call you.' You know they don't mean it. But everything she was saying she meant and she acted upon."
In fact, Common says he thinks Jolie's greatest gift could be her activism. "I could tell her heart is really into helping this world," he said of Jolie's U.N. goodwill ambassador role. "I think she will be a person in history who is going down as making a movement as far as making change in this world. That's one of the biggest things to me that I want to do as an artist."
Plus, she knows how to have a good time, he added. "We had fun. Brad Pitt was out there and the family. It was just a good family atmosphere with all the actors."
