First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes....oh, whoops. Jamie Lynn Spears and her baby's daddy are reportedly engaged!  Do you think it's true? Here's Dotspotter community member Glamourous007 with the scoop:

 

Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly set to marry her longtime boyfriend and unborn baby’s father, Casey Aldridge.

 

The 16-year-old has been spotted showing off a diamond band to friends and family in her hometown of Kentwood, La., and to relatives in Mississippi.

 

A source close to the Spears family tells People.com, “She’s got an engagement ring. She’s been showing it off, talking about it.” A representative for Spears was unavailable for comment as World Entertainment News Network went to press.

 

While Jamie Lynn is due this summer, there’s no word yet on any potential wedding date.

  • I think that in her situation she is fortunate that her family and herself have money and they can provide for the baby. I definently think they should be engaged but I think its ok to wait a year and be engaged for a while. That way they can see if its gonna work with a baby in the picture, also they can take their time and have a "dream wedding". If they are able to work things out and they love each other then it is in the babies best interest. He seems normal and nice compared to Britneys asswhole husband. I say be engaged for a year and then when she loses baby weight and has time to plan a wedding if they ar still in love go for it!
