Smack head Pete Doherty is obsessed with Scientology (the cult Tom Cruise is into) the "religion" that believes humans are an exiled race from Space. Pete is hooked on Scientology since meeting his new girlfriend DJ Nadine Ruddy who is also a Scientologist.
