See More... It was a pretty shocking elimination on American Idol on Wednesday as Chikezie was booted off. There were a couple of performances that were worse than his but he still got the boot. Jason Castro, who played it pretty safe with his performance, and Syesha Mercado, who I thought was great the night before, joined Chikezie in the bottom three. The elimination wasn’t all that was interesting that night as Carly Smithson also took the time to address rumors that she was pregnant. Apparently, that’s the reason why she wore something like a corset the night before – to show that she was still flat in the tummy and that she wasn’t pregnant.
