Duran Duran reportedly disappointed their fans on the opening night of their world tour when singer Simon Le Bon repeatedly forgot the lyrics to their hits. Their first show was on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Aukland, New Zealand, but their performance left a lot to be desired.

John Taylor was said to have stormed off the stage when Le Bon forgot the words to "Hungry Like a Wolf." Taylor returned later and allegedly shouted to his bandmates:

"I could not dance to that. These people came here to dance."

Le Bon joked:

"Duran Duran, f**king up in style."

Perhaps they should just call it quits and remember the good old days of when they were hot. So sad...

Hey, give them a break!!! Everybody has a bad day! These very talented (and THAT is putting it lightly) musicians have been around for almost 30 years and they get out of sync once? Big deal!! I love these guys and plan on seeing them at least once (front row) before I go "north". You guys, keep rockin' and hope to see you in May. Love ya! XXOO
