Jamie Lynn Spears wants to get something off her chest.

The pregnant 16-year-old wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase "The Rumors Are True" during a trip to Babies "R" Us in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, on March 27.

She also flashed an engagement ring.

The outing comes days after Casey Aldridge's cousin confirmed exclusively to Usmagazine.com that the two were getting hitched.

"He proposed ... and she accepted," Tina Robinson told Us.

She said didn’t know whether they would wed before or after Jamie Lynn delivers.

“They probably weren’t expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up,” Robinson told Us.

I like her...and people should stop being mean cus she's pregnant at 16. There are a lot of teens who have sex and don't get pregnant. She just happened to. Just cus she did doesn't mean she's the on;y one who does. Even I graduated hs with a mother.
