The 'Leatherheads' actor was leaving Los Angeles restaurant Dan Tana's when a paparazzi photographer asked him if his close friend Brad had asked him to be the tots' godfather.
He replied, "Yes, I am", before getting into a car and driving off with Sarah.
George and Brad first became friends after starring together in 'Ocean's Eleven' in 2001.
They have since holidayed together on several occasions, and appeared in the film's two sequels - 'Oceans' Twelve' and 'Ocean's Thirteen'.
