Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z applied for a marriage license in New York.
The pair – who have been dating for six years - reportedly obtained the
document in Scarsdale, and now have 60 days to tie the knot.

Friends of the couple have confirmed the news, and hinted 38-year-old Jay-Z
and Beyoncé, 26, are planning to get married in May.
One friend said: “Jay is trying to pull it together quickly to keep it
quiet. They really wanted it to be private.”
