The hellraising diva caused such a drama on a British Airways flight yesterday that she had to be dragged out of a first class cabin by, count 'em, four police officers. And she was kicking, gauging and spitting all the way. Forget the in-flight movie, that's entertainment.
Naomi, who has a history of, er, losing her nut over the most trivial things, apparently made a huge scene with the BA cabin crew over a missing bag at Heathrow's Terminal 5.
Naomi, 37, had just made her flight to Los Angeles for a TV appearance, but just before the plane took off, she was informed that one of her two bags had not been loaded onto the plane.
And...1...2...away she went!
Witnesses said the model went ballistic, screaming and swearing at staffers and waving her arms around. She demanded to get off the plane, then changed her mind and got back on it, still in full voice.
The BA staffers, apparently, had had enough of the verbal abuse by then, and rang up police to come sort it out.
And then it really hit the fan. A group of four cops -- for back-up, right? After all, it was the infamous Naomi, cell phone ninja -- boarded the transatlantic airliner and tried talking to the raging supermodel. Some plan.
A witness said: "She was screaming and shouting, effing...and complaining that she did not have her clothes for her television appearance. I've never seen anything like it."
Then, alas, the hot-tempered supermodel really went for the gusto. Says a witness: "She attacked a male police officer and spat at him."
Inevitably, the cops get her into some handcuffs and after a mighty struggle with the fashionable street brawler, managed to drag her off the aircraft, sources said. Naomi was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and taken to Heathrow police station.
