NICOLE Kidman and Keith Urban have bought a $7.6 million home in Los Angeles, where they expect to welcome their first child in July.
The Oscar-winning actress and her country singer husband are believed to be settling into the contemporary-style home ahead of the birth.
The purchase marks Kidman's return to the upmarket neighbourhood of Brentwood, where she lived for years before splitting with Tom Cruise in 2001.
Among her neighbours in the exclusive enclave are close friends Naomi Watts and Simon Baker, who all have homes in the eastern suburb which is between Bel Air and Pacific Palisades.
The 520sqm house, built in 1964, has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, walls of glass, city views, rolling lawns, koi ponds and the privacy of living at the end of a cul-de-sac, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Kidman sold the last home she had in the neighbourhood about four years ago for $11.4 million.
Kidman, 40, has two other children, whom she adopted with Cruise. She also owns a house in Sydney.
Kidman and Urban, 40, are also building a home outside Nashville, Tennessee.
The actress is not giving up her film career for motherhood, with the willowy screen star having agreed to star in a movie as Valerie Plame, the undercover CIA agent illegally exposed by the White House. Posted By Corinne
