Ray Sahranavard owns the mansion where Season 2 of the artistic masterpiece Rock of Love was filmed. According to a breach-of-contract suit he filed Friday and amended today to include Michaels as a defendant, he returned to his mansion to find at least $380,000 worth of damage.
Sahranavard says that Mindless Entertainment, Inc. (snort) promised to keep the house safe and undestroyed and to carry a $3 million liability policy for the just-in-cases (scenarios I'm sure we can all imagine but would never want to speak aloud). However, as reported by E! he says the place got trashed as follows: holes in the walls and ceilings, the doors had been removed, most of his grass and outdoor plants had died, and the interior of the home had been almost entirely repainted.
Holes in the ceilings?!
The company says they weren't aware of the in-house shenanigans, but they did admit that they never secured the insurance coverage. Sahranavard has sued them for breach of contract, fraud, negligence and negligent misrepresentation. Michaels himself was accused in today's amendment of intentional destruction of property, although I think it's entirely possible that he accidentally got one of the contestants' stilettos lodged in the ceiling. I mean, I can think of a number of ways that could have gone down. (Okay, now I've grossed myself out. I'm off to find some Pepto Bismol and brain bleach. Carry on.)
