Shooting in Boston, Massachusetts earlier this morning, The Proposal is a romantic comedy led by 27 Dresses director Anne Fletcher and written by Pete Chiarelli.
Sandra and Ryan’s new flick is a story that “follows a demanding female boss who agrees to a shame marriage in order to save her job. Faced with being deported to the cold country of Canada, she must marry her young male assistant to stay within the confines of the United States.”
Joining Bullock, 43, and Reynolds, 31, in the film, which is set for a September 25, 2009 release, are Mary Steenburgen and Craig T. Nelson.
