See More... Enjoying the beautiful California weather, Nicole Richie spent Saturday afternoon (April 12) out in Los Angeles with her baby daughter Harlow and her mom.

The group visited a friend’s house in Hollywood, then jumping into Nicole’s Cadillac with the family of girls stopping into Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills for a bit of shopping.

Meanwhile, insiders tell that Nicole, who was adopted by Lionel Richie, hasn’t maintained contact with her birth parents for years, but reportedly has decided to get to know her real family for her newborn daughter’s sake.

The 26-year-old former Simple Life star’s biological father is 1980’s pop musician Pete Escovedo Jr. and her mom is known only as a woman who was once a backstage assistant on Lionel’s 1980 world tour.

to me she looks a lot like her adpotive mom Brenda. I think maybe she is the real mom and they are keeping it hush-hush. Could Brenda had an affair with Nicole dad and it is all a cover up.
