No One Wants Naomi’s Blood

A Brazilian blood drive douched Naomi Campbell this week by refusing to take the supermodel’s blood donation. Naomi arrived at the HemoRio Medical Center in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday to give blood to help a dengue fever epidemic. The med center said, “no thnx.”

Officials there say she needs to wait longer after having surgery in February to remove a cyst.

An outbreak of mosquito-borne dengue fever has infected more than 75,000 people in Rio de Janeiro state this year and killed at least 80.

Campbell often visits Brazil and Rio Mayor Cesar Maia has invited her to be a goodwill ambassador for the city.

They can blame it on a “cyst,” but I think they’re just afraid of her evil, Blackberry-throwing, maid-hating DNA.
