A release date has finally been set for Mötley Crüe's first studio album in almost eight years. The band announced at a press conference in Los Angeles today that Saints of Los Angeles will be on store shelves starting June 17.

The rockers also confirmed a 40-date North American tour that will begin July 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The trek will be called Crüe Fest and will feature the following hard-rock acts in support:

Buckcherry

Papa Roach
Trapt
Sixx: A.M.

"We are SO excited not only to headline our own annual summer festival, but also to be able to share the stage with the next generation of great rock bands," said outspoken Mötley Crüe/Sixx: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx at a press conference this afternoon. "There's not a lot Mötley Crüe hasn't done so to say this summer's festival is going to be about rock 'n roll excess is an understatement. A night of hit songs by great bands and a trail of panties coast to coast ... Crüe Fest, hell yeah!"

The news comes on the heels of the Crüe releasing the title track from their upcoming album as its first single. "Saints of Los Angeles" was released simultaneously on MTV's "Rock Band" video game, an industry first.
