Media Whore Continues to Exploit Pregnancy

Is she or isn’t she? Ashlee Simpson pregnancy rumors have been swirling for quite some time now. I'm sure most of us are mildly impressed that this shameless starlet has been able to keep the details secret for this long but lately it’s become obvious that all this potential baby bliss business is turning into a publicity stunt of gargantuan proportions. Will this B-list star stop at nothing to live life in the limelight? Drift82 has the scoop…

Ashlee Simpson is not the one to give it up so soon! Ashlee was made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs Thursday and the talk show host asked her flat-out if had a bun in the oven.

Her reply,

Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe….

Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something … because I don’t think I do.

A statement to which Ellen brought up a photo of J.Lo, and then asked,

“You’re not going to keep this answer up as long as this woman did….”

Laughing, the Simpson replied:

“No, I’m not. I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that.”

She also told Ellen about how she knew she was ready to marry her fiancé, Pete Wentz.

I don’t know. Maybe when his jeans fit me … I decided we could wear the same clothes. There were lots of moments. But every time he would leave [on tour], I would cry, so we had this inseparable relationship.

I really don't know whether she is or she isn't pregnant but I think I'm losing interest in this now! I hate her boring, illogical answers whenever she is asked about her pregnancy! They just don't make sense!

Anyway, Ashlee Simpson made a musical appearance on Dancing With The Stars earlier this week. The singer’s “Bittersweet World” album hit stores on Tuesday. For support, fiancé Pete Wentz, big sis Jessica Simpson, and Mama Tina Simpson went along.

Well sure she is pulling a publicity stunt. She just released an album and since nobody cares for her music she needs to try to keep the publics attention in hopes that people might get curious and buy her album. On the positive side in Rolling Stone magazine it said that Justin Timberlake and several other quality acts helped with her new album. It said that her music was reminescent of the '80's and sometimes sounds like Siouxie and the Banshees. So I am quite curious to hear this but I dont think I'm ready to dump $17 on it yet.

BY THE WAY, I JUST READ THAT ASHLEE'S ALBUM DID SOO POORLY THAT A COMEDY ALBUM SOLD MORE THAN HER! GUESS BEATIN' AROUND THE BUSH ABOUT BEING PREGNANT DOESNT SELL RECORDS, HUH ASH?
